I won't gross you out with excessive details, but I have a cold...I don't like to torch when I am under the weather, something about sneezing, kleenex, and a very hot flame sounds like a risky combination!
So yesterday I worked on something I've been thinking about for a while--some members of our Cocker Spaniel rescue group are participating in a sort of dog festival next month. The event includes a 'dog walk', which is either a sort of parade or a pledge thing, several members will be in it. I thought it would be fun to show our CSR pride! This is what I came up with:

I did the center section with some amazing fabric that goes through the printer! I printed out a paper sheet with the lettering in black and white and colored it with pencils, then just used the 'copy' function on our all-in-one machine, this is an amazing product! Thanks Mom! -I didn't get brave enough to try the serger I got for Christmas...I am a craven coward and besides only have black and white thread. We have a vet appointment this morning and I have to get some ink for the printer too, so I may hop over and get some threads to use on the other coats I have planned. Depending on how clear my head stays this afternoon, the serger presents some exciting possibilites...
And oh my gosh I am crazy about that big fish bead of Joan's!!! I have big plans to do a cuff for myself featuring cabochons by Joan...better email her now!
Have a good one!
